This is the end of my third day and it has been a lot of upgrading. with the Town Hall only going to level 4 to keep the beginner protection there is only limited resource fields and no other supply available. I have built several np cities so when I am off beginner protection resources will no longer be a problem as they will supply all the resources that I need. The upgrades are taking more and more resources and to make matters worse I have built a second city. With the second city there is not the return of resources as happens in the quest so it is harder and harder to keep the resources coming. I joined an alliance with 78 members so that is good and to help with resources I asked in the chat for any help that was available for resources. This is an excellent alliance as I was supplied with a large quantity almost immediately. If you join a good alliance this is the type of help you can expect. If help is not forthcoming then find another alliance. As you can see from the pictures below I progressed well and I am well on the way to being ready for war in another 4 days.

Research: Agriculture 2  Lumbering 5,  Masonry 1, Mining 4,  Metal Casting 4,  Informatics 8,  Military Science 6,  Military Tradition 4,  Iron Working 3,  Logistics 4,  Archery 5,  Stockpile 1,, Horse Back Riding 4,  Medicine 1,, Construction 4 These are progressing well and with the second city it is a lot faster.

Troops:  Worker 700,  Warrior 90,  Scout 110,  Pikemen 600, Swordmen 35,  Archer 1000, Cavalry 30, Transporters 60. Only small numbers as yet but I would hope to have at least 10k archers and 10k scout along with other troops and ballista by the time I am off beginners.
