| Making High
Attribute Heroes |
When we first start we all make many mistakes with
building, research, resource fields and of course trying to get the
best hero that we can. This for me was one very big mistake that I am
only starting to rectify. I looked around for information on how to
get heroes with decent attributes and then to increase those rapidly
but could not find a great deal so I had to experiment.
Two mistakes that I made were:
1/ I thought that I needed to get the inn up to a high level as
quickly as possible to get a better hero. Big mistake.
2/ Buy the highest level hero from the inn. Major big mistake
I will explain both these statements and the solutions for you if I
can work it out fully in this old head. |
The first part of this involves the type of hero you
get in the inn.
with your inn at level 1 you will see 1 low level hero. The attributes
for these will vary quite a lot and that is what you are looking for.
I buy the hero and then go to the Feasting hall and dismiss if not the
hero that I want. This can take a little bit of time but believe me it
is worth the effort.
Pick the attribute that you want Politics, Attack or Intelligence with
a high level. You will be able to get one with an attribute above 50
and I get them with an attribute of up to 65. At this size attribute
the other attributes will be low which is also what you want. |
Now how to make this work toward a high level hero.
The only way to increase the attribute level of a hero is by making
them work that is by using them in attacks. A low level hero with an
attack attribute of 50 is enough to attack an npc lvl 4 or 5 and that
is exactly where I start. These low level heroes will increase their
attribute by between 4 and 6 on an npc city attack whereas a high
level say 45 or above will only increase by 1 attribute for every 2
attacks. This will get your low level hero to and attack attribute of
80 very quickly usually only a couple of days. you will still only
have a hero with a level of 25 and still easy to increase.
Once your hero gets to attack of 80 you can start using them on lvl 7
& 8 npc cities. You can find plenty of info on numbers to use to
attack these without me adding it all here. I go for overkill as I am
trying to increase hero level so I use a rainbow combined with 30k and
40k archers and 800 and 1200 transporters respectively. These figures
may be completely wrong but they work for me. You will lose your
rainbow plus about 1.5k archers. This will get your hero beyond attack
level of 100 in only a few more days.
Once I get my hero to above 100 I use it on level 9 npc and get it up
to the minimum required which is 125 for level 10 npc. You can cut a
corner here and add the sword with him at around attack 115 and then
he will be fine for level 10npc.With about 10 attacks on lvl 10 npc
you will have an attack hero of around 130 and it will only take a
couple of weeks. With a hero of 115 and the sword expect to lose 8 to
10k of archers. Once you get your hero to above 140 or so your loses
will come down to 5.5k to 6.5k archers and the rainbow.
Two main points with attacking lvl10 npc are firstly do not forget to
add the ivory horn or the war horn for the 20% increase in troops
attack or you could lose as much as 30k arch on one attack.
And of course the second is to re-scout the cities until you get one
with a hero less than lvl 10. I usually go for one that is lvl 5 or
less and it does not take long to find one with lvl 1. |
| To get heroes with higher attributes in either
politics or intelligence you follow the same process but just stick to
attacking lvl 4 & 5 npc or resource fields. With these lower attack
level heroes you can expect to lose 1 or 2 ballista but it comes down
to whether you want the high attribute or not. |
| The information that I have provided here may be
totally wrong but it works well for me and I now have heroes above
attack 200 where before I was having a rough time even getting to the
attack 125 level that is needed for lvl 10 npc. If you know of a
better method please mail me at helenhopeless on evony and I will
include your ideas. |
Just to sum this up I have tried to purchase the high
lvl heroes and then get them better by using holy water but I found
that to be a total waste of time and money. After using 5 on on say a
lvl 45 hero I have ended up with a lower attack level than the
original. This idiot thing does it's own thing and alters the
attributes to what it wants and there is no way to input your
requirement. If you want to waste money (and I mean real money) then
give the holy water a try and show me where I am wrong. I have found
that it is only a fluke if you increase the attribute that you want.
With the method I have described you will get exactly what you want
and the only outlay is time and effort.
The higher the level of hero the more experience points needed to
increase an attribute so it only stands to reason that a level 5 will
increase the attribute a lot faster than a level 50 and you will never
find a high level hero with an attack level above 60 or at least I
never found one in the inn. |
| There is no doubt that I have missed a lot with this
little exercise so please let me know what that is so I can fix it and
help us all to get the best level heroes possible. Don't complain to
others about my mistakes complain to me. |
A further contribution by LordMoros that is very good
Hero Recuitment
I keep my Inn at lvl3
they say that a higher in gives better heroes but not true
only gives higher lvl heroes
and the stats to those heroes are basically cheap
I right now have a lvl3 with 69 politics and 53 attack
once i farm with this hero i can be my mayor with a high politics stat
and decent attack
so basically i keep my Inn at lvl3 in all my cities
and once i have all my heroes in my main ill demo the Inn
and if i lose a hero i will have my second city replace them |
| Just as an afterthought I have included this bit of
info. If you add 200 warrior to an attack on a level 4 or 5 npc city
you get around 50 prestige. I have tried it and it works but I do not
use it as it takes a lot of time and I usually send out most of my
attacks before I think to use it. |
