| Capturing an NPC
level 10 |
| Well I finally got the courage to try to capture a
lvl10 npc. If I had know how easy it is I would have saved myself a
lot of work and obtained most of my cities this way. All that lvl 10
and no Michelangelo Scripts. The problem that I see is demolishing all
those cottages and farms to make barracks and iron and lumber resource
fields. With most of that we all need to do it anyway as we build
totally wrong when we start. It can be demolished 1 level at a time or
pay the cost of dynamite and do it fast which is what I plan to do.
You don't want to know this anyway so I will get to the point of this
page. |
| I read a fair bit before I started and found it all
to be a bit confusing (that is probably just me as I get confused
trying to start this computer). It is also hard to find real specific
information. The more I read the less likely I was to try. I finally
said what the hell and jumped in. |
| To put this thing very simple which I promise you it
really is. I did the first attack that we do when farming an NPC then
I followed with the boring part of bringing down the loyalty. The
total attacks to take the city and put my name in the little box was
33. Not as many as trying to take an enemy city as the loyalty goes
down with each attack. -3 till loyalty 50 or so then -2 the rest of
the way. |
| I will add the attack reports at the end if you want
to go through them and I will summarize those results first. |
| My first attack was 93k archers with with 1k rainbow
of worker, scout, sword, warrior, pike. there was also the 2k
transporters to carry home the goodies. |
| I started the wave attacks landing at 1 minute
intervals after this first attack. My first few I did with 25k archers
and 100 each of warrior and pike (approx 4k archer). the losses were
high so I tried 200 each warrior and pike. This cut the archer losses
by half (approx 2k archer). I then tried 300 each warrior and pike and
this dropped the losses dramatically (average around 250 archer and
far less warrior and pike) so I stuck with this combination. I will
try different combinations to see what happens if I get time and post
to this page. |
Total losses after healing:
| worker 900 |
scout 900 |
sword 900 |
warrior 4571 |
pike 5042 |
archer 35163 |
|
I would probably lose fewer archer if I use 300 pike
and warrior but I will not know till the next trial.
And that was it. It really was quite easy. |
The npc I attacked was only 1 mile from me and I had
made it a while ago for this purpose. I have 2 more npc lvl 10 at 1.4
mile from the same city that I will practice on.
My main hero for the first attack was a lvl 123 with attack of 175. I
also used 7 other heroes all with attack levels above 100. I do not
know what would happen if you use heroes with a lower attack level and
I have no intention of trying just to find out. The hero in the npc
city was level 8. Yes I know I could have kept scouting till I turned
up a level 1 but I was just a bit lazy and that was the first scout so
I though it may be a good omen.
If you add the figures you will also see that I needed 243k archers to
use for the main attack and the first 6 waves. I have far more than
this number in the city. I do not know what the minimum requirements
would be to attack. But those numbers will probable be a little higher
if you are further from the NPC. |
